We build a cross-sector ecosystem to enhance career interoperability and sustainability in the European agri-food sector.
The European agri-food sector faces pressing challenges, including food security and climate change. LETSGROW addresses this by promoting interoperable R&I careers that bridge academic and non-academic (NA) sectors. Our concept stands on three pillars: training, mobility of Talents, and policy development. These pillars foster collaboration and knowledge exchange, creating a fertile environment for R&I Talents.
LETSGROW provides 37 training activities to equip R&I Talents with evolving competencies. Focus areas include deep tech (digital, biotech) and transversal skills like grant writing and innovation management, recognized by ECTS or micro-credentials.
The project features 44 cross-sectoral exchanges to prepare Talents for interoperable careers. These include research mobilities for R&I collaboration and R&I support mobilities to build institutional capacity (e.g. IP management, entrepreneurship).
LETSGROW develops policy recommendations based on evidence and needs. Lessons from training and mobility , ecosystem mapping, and a Community of Practice (CoP) feed this co-creation process to enhance R&I career interoperability.
Talents receive comprehensive support, including a Personal Career Development Plan (PCDP) developed with mentors from both host and sending institutions. A dedicated Mentorship Programme and a Return Plan (RP) maximize the impact of the mobility.
The LETSGROW consortium gathers 11 partners from across Europe:
