On 15 June 2026, the LETSGROW team met up at Casa do Corim in Portugal. Chaired by UCP, it was a valuable opportunity for the partners to sit down, look at what we have achieved so far, and map out our next steps.
Following a highly encouraging mid-term review, the big takeaway from our meeting was a shift in focus. While it is great to know our early teamwork and coordination are hitting the mark, we are now moving past simply tracking our daily activities and focusing entirely on measuring long-term, real-world impact.
To make that happen, our partners are prioritizing a few key areas moving forward:
Rethinking training & mobility: We are working to make our learning sessions as accessible as possible while finding better ways to track how cross-border exchanges actually boost careers and institutions in the long run.
Growing our network: We are actively setting up our Community of Practice and figuring out how to keep this collaborative network thriving long after the project officially ends.
Telling better stories: We want to move away from rigid project updates and start sharing authentic, human stories from the actual researchers and stakeholders involved.
It was a incredibly productive session that left the whole consortium on the same page, and we are excited to dive into this next phase.
